Allen Iverson Looking Drunk, Talks About Playing Russian Roulette

I remember as a kid, it wasn’t Michael Jordan who drew me to the NBA – it was Allen Iverson.

I was young enough to watch and understand the significance of Jordan’s run with the Bulls and while it was certainly captivating, it was the Allen Iverson era that really brought myself and many similar aged fans into the game. So it’s with a bit of a saddened heart to see the one time face of the league on such shaky ground.

This weekend, we reported that Allen Iverson had just 72 hours to pay $71,000 in back child support but that appears to be the least of his worries as A.I. recently spoke about “playing” Russian Roulette.

The clip stems from Adrien Broner’s online reality show, About Billions where Broner and his friends run into Iverson which leads to the former Philadelphia 76er suggesting the two play with a loaded pistol.

Iverson’s demeanor seems like he’s on the wrong end of a drunken night (or a few nights) on the town which he’s been known to do relatively often.

The language isn’t safe for work, just fair warning if you feel the need to check out the clip (scroll to the 1:50 mark).
