UCF Knights Unveils New Black Basketball Court (Photo)

Unique basketball courts are all of the rage in college basketball. While collegiate football teams worry about who looks the best on the field with their fancy uniform designs, basketball programs are using their basketball courts to show off their individuality and stand out from above the crowd. The latest team to join the basketball court madness is the UCF Knights.

While it isn’t nearly as fancy as FIU’s beach themed court, UCF is going with a black court to emulate blacktop courts you see in parks all across the nation. It is certainly a way to make a statement when you are joining a new conference, which UCF will be doing when they join the American Athletic Conference this fall.

UCF had a successful campaign just a season ago, so if they can continue their success to go along with the sharp new court, they could really step up their recruiting game and bring some quality players to Orlando.
