The Houston Rockets are gearing up to make a run at Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard and are in the process are shedding salary. Once such contract that has/will be shed is that of Carlos Delfino, who’s contract for the 2013-14 season is not fully guaranteed meaning the Rockets can buy him out or straight release him, depending on the language of his deal. Either way, Delfino will not be returning to Houston next year.
One such place that will have interest in the swingman though is Golden State, this according to Tim Kawakami who suggests the Warriors may go after the Argentinian guard:
Unrelated note: I’ll continue to point out that Houston F Carlos Delfino is a very interesting name for the GSWs as July arrives.
An undervalued role player, Delfino brings with him a solid offensive arsenal mixed with decent defense that pretty much any team can use off of their bench.
