Lakers Metta World Peace, Terrell Owens Announce Joint Reality TV Show

I uh, well, it’ll certainly be must watch TV.

According to Metta World Peace himself, aka, Ron Artest, the Los Angeles Lakers forward will be teaming up with former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens to film their own reality show.

The television world isn’t exactly new for Owens, who at one time had his own reality show on VH1 which pretty much followed Owens around and, well, nothing more than that. Actually, I stand corrected. The show followed him around and filmed him lounging in his pool. My apologies.

Peace announced his intentions on his YouTube account:

The Lakers forward had been ‘teasing’ the ‘announcement’ for a few days now, many hinting that it had to do with Peace’s contract with the Lakers which includes an early termination clause. The former Indiana Pacer and Sacramento King recently said he wasn’t sure if he should opt into the contract or not, given he experienced his best season in a while and could potentially cash in with what would presumably be his last “big” deal.

I guess we’ll be waiting a few more days for that decision.
