LeBron James has won his second NBA Championship if you live under a rock and haven’t heard. But celebrating his second ring has come with its fair share of hurdles. James and his Miami Heat teammates were nearly decapitated while riding on top of double-decker busses in the parade.
But once the parade finally ended and they got to the second part of the festivities LeBron James was called to the stage to be interviewed. The interviewer told James that he found something he had lost during game 6 and pulled out a white headband and handed it to James. Then a barrage of headbands rained down on LeBron from around the stage.
His teammates also took part in the headband tossing, and James responded to them.
“Really? Really? You’re going to get involved in that too,” LeBron asked.
LeBron playfully explained what it was like finishing the game without his headband.
“It was an out-of-body experience for me,” James said. “If anyone knows me, especially my teammates, my headband come off in a game I lose all my powers.”
“I can’t dunk no more, I can’t shoot, I can’t dribble, I’m like a newborn baby, slobbering and everything,” James said.
