The Chicago Blackhawks didn’t have the honor of winning the 2013 Stanley Cup in front of their home fans, but that didn’t take away from the sweet taste of victory. Now that the Blackhawks have had a little time to enjoy their win, they have made the trip back to Chicago with Lord Stanley’s Cup in hand.

Blackhawks forward Michal Handzus exited the team’s plane with the Stanley Cup in hand, while Patrick Kane emerged with the Conn Smythe Trophy in hand.

Here is video of the Blackhawks arrival:

While the Blackhawks partied in to the night, the celebration is still just beginning.

Later this week, Chicago will host the team’s championship parade as the fans get to enjoy the team’s great Stanley Cup win with them as they parade through the crowded streets of Chicago.

Congratulations to the Blackhawks and their fans for the win. It was one of the most entertaining series in recent memory.
