Udonis Haslem Asks Ray Allen to Return to the Miami Heat in the Shower

As co-captain of the Miami Heat, Udonis Haslem has a lot of responsibilities off of the floor – one of which is to play agent, apparently.

After the Miami Heat won their second consecutive title, Ray Allen was trying to relax with a post game shower. Figuring it’s difficult to get the ear of any NBA player, let alone somebody with the pedigree of Ray Allen, the long time Heat power forward decided to join Allen in the shower and pitch him on a return to the Heat for the upcoming season.

“I put the bug in his ear in the shower after the game,” Heat forward and co-captain Udonis Haslem said Monday, referring to a conversation he had with Allen after Game 7 on Thursday. “I told him, ‘I’m not going to put no pressure on you. I’m not going to ask you what you’re going to do. But just know that I’m thinking about what you’re going to do.'”

When asked about Allen’s response, Haslem says he didn’t get one – I’m guessing because Allen was probably trying to take a damn shower.

I guess Haslem didn’t learn from the Ron Artest/Kobe Bryant situation – it’s not good to creep up on people in the shower, yo.
