2013 NBA Draft: Orlando Magic Have 3 or 4 Offers For No. 2 Overall Pick

According to insider John Denton, the Orlando Magic have three or four trade offers on the table that they’re seriously considering in exchange for the number two overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.

Per Denton:

#Magic GM Rob Hennigan said “a half-dozen teams have called with deals to consider” He said there were 3-4 trades being seriously considered

Denton doesn’t go into what teams have made inquires though the Magic have not hidden their desire to move out of their spot.

Earlier today it was reported by ESPN’s Chad Ford that the Magic were looking at former University of Indiana product Victor Oladipo with the second overall selection, but questions remain about his shooting ability – something essential as a two guard in the NBA. It was also reported that the Magic would be thrilled if Nerlens Noel fell to them, but they didn’t expect that to happen so they must feel the Cavaliers are throwing smoke screens with their suggestions that they’ll be drafting Alex Len.

Few times have we seen multiple teams picking so highly trying to trade away their pick like the Cavaliers and Magic have attempted to do and it’s created one of the most crazy rumor mills in recent years.
