Aaron Hernandez is having a pretty awful day, but he has no one to blame but himself. After being arrested in connection to the murder of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd, Hernandez was released by the New England Patriots. Now, we finally know what the charges are that led to Hernandez leaving his home in handcuffs.

The charges were unclear before his arraignment, but we were told to “assume the worst” and we knew that he would be held without bail, but now we finally know the official charges that Hernandez will face.

After being transported to the court by the Massachusetts State Police, Hernandez was read his charges.

As we expected, they weren’t very good for Hernandez’s future playing career.

The first count that was read for Hernandez was murder. Lloyd was shot several times with what appears to be a semi-automatic weapon.

Five gun related charges have been handed down as well.

This is only the beginning of Hernandez’s legal battle, but let’s remember that he is innocent until proven guilty. Though the public court already has judged otherwise.
