A few weeks ago, a handful of NBA players like Nate Robinson and Andre Drummond were using Vine (a social media video sharing service) on a near daily basis. But ever since an announcement from rival company Instagram that allows the sharing of videos that are over double the length in time, NBA players have been flocking to the new service.

Once such player to do so is Deron Williams of the Brooklyn Nets.

The talented point guard decided to post his first Instagram video yesterday and in the process decided to poke fun at the crosstown Knicks, pushing a kid wearing a Patrick Ewing jersey to the ground.

Obviously, the video was in jest and I’m not sure who the little kid is, but it was worth a chuckle.

The rivalry between the Knicks and Nets should only grow as both teams look poised to be among the elite in the Eastern Conference for the foreseeable future.
