Guess who’s back? It is being reported that NBA Hall of Famer and  former NBA Executive of the Year Larry Bird will be returning to the Indiana Pacers front office.

From Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports:

Bird served as Pacers’ President of Basketball Operations since 2003, but he stepped down this past year because of health issues. Donnie Walsh was set to replace Bird, but now Bird will be back with the team in a move that can only help the franchise.

Since giving up head coaching duties, the Indiana Pacers have been on the right path and quickly have become one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference.

Bird is a bright NBA mind and his presence in the front office will only help the franchise’s basketball operations.
