NBA Draft 2013: Cleveland Cavaliers Still Leaning Towards Alex Len With No.1 Pick

It looks as if it will be a two man race to be the number one selection in tomorrow’s NBA Draft.

For weeks, the Cleveland Cavaliers have reportedly been worried about the health of Nerlens Noel but recently the Cavaliers medical team stated they had no issues with Noel’s recovery. That said, they might just like Alex Len better.

According to a report from CBS Sports, the Cavaliers are currently leading towards drafting Len with the number one selection tomorrow night.

Per Jon Rothstein of CBS:

The Cleveland Cavaliers are still leaning towards Maryland’s Alex Len with the first overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, per a source…..

It’s quite possible that the Cavaliers could be setting one of many smokescreens as teams are known to do. It’s also quite possible that the Cavs are legitimately more interested in Len and will select him. Either way, we’ll find out in the near future and whatever the Cavs decide to do, it will most likely be one of a handful of moves throughout the night as they’ve been one of – if not the most active team in trade talks this week.
