Draft Grade: B+

he ever-savvy Oklahoma City Thunder selected an ideal draft-and-stash candidate in Alex Abrines with the #32 pick, the second pick in the second round. Abrines only played around eleven minutes per game in Europe last year, and the Thunder plan to leave him in Europe and see how he develops.

He’s a streaky, long-range shooter that could carve out a nice niche in the NBA as a reserve guard in a spot-shooting role. He has very nice size at 6′ 5″, and it will be intriguing to see how fast he’s ready to move over to the United States and join the Oklahoma City rotation.
