NBA Draft 2013: Charlotte Bobcats Considering Trading Down

Like the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic before them, the Charlotte Bobcats, who own the fourth overall selection in tonight’s NBA Draft are seriously weighing trade offers to move down.

According to Sporting News’ Sean Deveney:

Bobcats are seriously weighing an offer to move back in the draft from the No. 4 spot. Likely w Wolves, who are targeting Victor Oladipo …

The Wolves have been attempting to acquire a top four pick for some time now and it’s possible the two teams could strike a deal in advance of the selection. Also interested in moving up in the draft are the Sacramento Kings, who’ve already held discussions with the Bobcats (as well as the Phoenix Suns).

Both Minnesota and Sacramento have parts the Bobcats could be interested in, so it’s extremely believable that the Cats may attempt to move down a few spots to gain a few extra pieces for their future, especially if a couple teams are willing to get into a bidding war.

Two hours until go time…
