NBA Draft 2013: Fellow Teams Believe Orlando Magic Will Draft Victor Oladipo

The Orlando Magic continue to shop their number two overall selection in tonight’s NBA Draft and are reportedly involved in ‘serious’ discussions with at least three teams – the Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves. That said, if they are unable to find a willing trade partner, most fellow NBA teams believe the Magic will select University of Indiana product Victor Oladipo.

Per Wojo:

Supreme confidence of other lottery teams that Orlando will take Indiana’s Victor Oladipo with No. 2 pick. Still, Magic discussing trades.

The Magic, while not exactly in love with any of the potential prospects at number two have been heavily linked to both Oladipo and Nerlens Noel in recent days.

A few weeks ago, Kansas guard Ben McLemore was nearly a lock to be drafted by the Magic but poor workouts combined with questions about his work ethic may have caused a small slip in his draft stock.

Orlando will reportedly continue to attempt to move the pick but seems content with Oladipo if they’re unable to do so.
