NBA Draft 2013: Orlando Magic in 'Serious' Talks to Trade No. 2 Pick To OKC Thunder, Trail Blazers or Timberwolves?

With just a few hours until the 2013 NBA Draft, the Orlando Magic have been working the phones at a lightning pace and they may have found something.

Yesterday, the Magic stated that they had three or four serious offers for the number two overall pick in tonight’s draft and now according to Sheridan Hoops, they are in ‘serious’ discussions with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Portland Trail Blazers and Minnesota Timberwolves for the pick.

Per Joe Kotoch:

Orlando Magic are in a curious position. Orlando loves Victor Oladipo but are having serious discussions with Oklahoma City, Minnesota, and Portland about trading down with teams looking to grab Ben McLemore or Nerlens Noel.

There’s no word on what players would be returning to Orlando from any of the teams, though the Thunder have a collection of picks they could send back and the Trail Blazers have a top ten pick they could send back as well, in addition to any players.

Of note – Kotoch says to expect the Magic to draft Noel on behalf of another team.
