The New York Knicks will apparently have a new, alternate orange uniform for the 2013-14 season.

Knicks swingman Iman Shumpert was recently in Los Angeles for an Adidas photoshoot and decided to Instagram a picture of the said shoot. Only problem? Both NBA and the Adidas didn’t want him to leak the uniform. Oops.

The picture and post were taken down shortly thereafter, but not before some quick thinking NBA fans grabbed a few screenshots.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Shumpert has got Adidas in hot water. You’ll recall last year he had their logo shaved into the back of his head, a clear no no in the NBA rulebook which states that the only article bearing a commercial ‘logo’ which can be worn by players is on their shoes.

As for the uniform, what do you think? It’s certainly a change from the typical white and blue jerseys we’ve associated the Knicks with.
