2013 NBA Draft Results: Detroit Pistons Live Draft Grade

Apr 10, 2013; Louisville, KY, USA; Louisville Cardinals guard Peyton Siva (3) gestures to the crowd at the KFC YUM! Center during their celebration for winning the NCAA Men

Draft Grade: B+

Why not? The Detroit Pistons selected diminutive point guard Peyton Siva out of the University of Louisville and the #56 overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft. Siva is very small and many question whether or not he’ll be able to hold up in the professional ranks, but he did lead Lousiville to the national title in 2013, and in the second round, everyone is throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks.

Siva could very well make an NBA career out of being a fifth guard as an energy scorer off the bench. It’ll be interesting to see how he looks in the NBA Summer League, but hopefully he’ll make the roster and see how his career looks moving forward.
