North Carolina Wolfpack forward C.J. Leslie went undrafted despite the fact that an unknown team promised to take him in the 2013 NBA Draft, but he found a home as an undrafted free agent shortly after the conclusion of the draft.

From Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports:

Many were surprised to see Leslie continue to slide down the draft boards throughout the second round, while a number of relative unknowns and international players continued to come off of the board. Luckily for Leslie, the Knicks saw him as a potential answer and he will still get a chance to make it in the league.

Leslie could prove to be a good signing for the Knicks if he can eventually work his way to being a bench player.

New York needs to add depth and youth in a desperate way, and Leslie certainly helps in both of those categories.

It is still a bit shocking that he went undrafted.
