Auburn Announces New Parking, Tailgating Plan That Includes 2,000 New Parking Spots

The Auburn Tigers are removing some previous restrictions in an effort to revamp the university’s tailgating atmosphere. Auburn athletics director Jay Jacobs announced that the school would be adding 2,000 new parking spots around Jordan-Hare Stadium in an effort to provide students with more parking and tailgating options.

“The great thing about it is it’s going to be great for our fans,” Jacobs said, via “It increases the overall mission of what we’re trying to accomplish on game day.

“Management wanted to create some additional spots for people who want that type of experience. You can come over here and park for free and pitch your tent, or you can go over here and have a turnkey operation, whatever you like.”
