The NHL has announced their All-Rookie Team for the previous season. It was a very talented group of players that received the honors for their first year in the league, but the team is highlighted by Calder Trophy winner Jonathan Huberdeau of the Florida Panthers. Joining Huberdeau on the front line was fellow Calder Trophy finalists Brandon Saad of the Chicago Blackhawks and Brendan Gallagher of the Montreal Canadiens.

Jonas Brodin of the Minnesota Wild and Edmonton Oilers blueliner Justin Schultz were the two defensemen named to the squad, and those two men finished fourth and seventh in the Calder Trophy voting.

The squad was completed with St. Louis Blues rookie netminder Jake Allen.

All of these men have bright futures in the league and it is great to see them get the recognize they deserve early in their careers.
