Tour de France 2013: Bus Stuck Under Finish Line on Stage 1

There was total chaos on the first stage of the 2013 Tour de France. Not only was there a major crash with just 5km left in the race, but a bus found a way to get stuck under the finish line. It’s not exactly the way you want to start off the big race, but it turned in to an exciting, must-see affair.

German Marcel Kittel was able to win the first leg, while Mark Cavendish, the favorite to earn the yellow jersey, was engulfed in the crash.

Here is a photo of the bus trapped under the finish line, via Twitter:

What a wild first day.
