Before the NBA Free Agency period even began, Chris Paul’s representatives told teams around the league not to bother showing interest in Paul, because he was set on a return to the Los Angeles Clippers. Often times those rumors could just be smoke screens, but it looks like Paul is set to stick to his word and re-sign with the Clippers shortly after midnight.

According to ESPN reports:

This was a move that was expected to happen as soon as the Clippers completed the move that brought Doc Rivers to Los Angeles. Keeping Paul in town was the top priority for the Clippers and it looks like mission accomplished.

Free agency kicks off just after midnight, so be sure to stay tuned to throughout the free agency period as we keep you up to date with the latest news and rumors from around the league.
