With free agency close to kicking off, teams around the league are beginning to show their hand and give us a look at where they could be looking to go in free agency. The Minnesota Timberwolves are one of the latest teams to give us an idea of their top targets and it looks like you can put O.J. Mayo and Andre Iguodala on that list.

Minnesota is expected to target a starting shooting guard in free agency, and one of Rob Pelinka’s clients could be their answer.

From ESPN.com:

"Meet with unrestricted free agent shooting O.J. Mayo. His agent, Rob Pelinka, has his office in Los Angeles. Saunders could also check in on another Pelinka client in Andre Iguodala, who also is an unrestricted free agent. According to ESPN, Pelinka will have Mayo and Iguodala together. The price for Iguodala is expected to be far too high for the Wolves, who plan on retaining restricted free agent center Nikola Pekovic. They won’t have the financial flexibility needed to sign a player for more than approximately $7 million per year. Iguodala will command far more than that annually."

Other potential targets for the Timberwolves are expected to be J.J. Redick, Mike Dunleavy and Chase Budinger.

NBA Free Agency officially kicks off in a few hours.
