When Does 2013 NBA Free Agency Start?

The NBA is about to kick off 2013 free agency, but a number of fans are still unaware of when exactly the free agency market kicks off. For those of you still looking for that information, we have got you covered.

NBA Free Agency officially kicks off on Monday, July 1 at 12:01 a.m. ET.

That means that shortly after midnight a number of players around the league will be able to start negotiating with teams as they look for their next big pay day.

While teams and players can negotiate, no one is able to officially sign a deal until June 10, but the sides can agree to terms in principle.

As we all know, the big story of the NBA Free Agency period will be the Dwight Howard saga.

Howard is not expected to return to the Los Angeles Lakers, but we already have an idea of where he may land. According to the most recent speculation, the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks appear to be the front-runners.

The NBA madness will officially kick off in a matter of hours, so be sure to stick with FanSided.com as we keep you up to date on the latest news and rumors.
