Aaron Brooks and New York Knicks Have 'Mutual Interest' With Each Other

Recently the Houston Rockets decided to not pick up the options on Aaron Brooks, Carlos Delfno, and Francisco Garcia. Well there seems to be another team that has interest in Mr. Brooks.

The New York Knicks are in desperate need of a point guard, losing Jason Kidd to retirement, as well as Pablo Prigioni, who may decide to not stay in New York. In an article from the New York Daily News, there seems to be a possible “mutual interest” between Brooks and the Knicks.

The Knicks are in some serious need at the position, with the only player that has a contract with New York is Raymond Felton.

It’s obviously hard to say what the Knicks will do next with the PG position, but if they manage to sign Brooks, they will at least have a little bit of depth at the position. The Knicks are still in a good spot to make a serious push for a title in the coming year(s), so depth is something they are definitely going to need.
