Dwight Howard, Golden State Warriors Meeting Monday

As Dwight Howard’s free agency tour continues, his next stop will be in Oakland. The highly sought after free agent center made his first visit shortly after midnight with a contingent from the Houston Rockets. While Howard is expected to meet with the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, it looks like the Golden State Warriors will be getting the next crack at making their pitch.

From Tommy Dee of The Knicks Blog:

The Warriors aren’t viewed as one of the most likely teams to land Howard, but they are certainly one of the most intriguing options. When you add the likes of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes to the mix, Golden State could have one of the most talented rosters in the league with Howard in the middle.

Free agency kicked off just after midnight, so be sure to stay tuned to throughout the free agency period as we keep you up to date with the latest news and rumors from around the league.
