The Houston Rockets came out of their meeting with Dwight Howard to start the free agency period with a positive attitude. Rockets forward Chandler Parsons was one of the men who joined the Rockets in Los Angeles for their pitch to Howard and he told Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports that the meeting was “very promising”.
.@ChandlerParsons to Y!:”Meeting was great.Very promising.(DH’s) main focus was winning & we will give him the best opportunity to do that”

Howard reportedly spent most of the meeting asking about the team’s ability to win and he feels comfortable with how things are going in Houston.
To show how well the meeting went in Houston’s eyes, the Rockets plan to move forward in free agency looking for players that they can put with Howard rather than fall-back options.
If everything goes according to plan for the Rockets, they can emerge from the free agency period very happy with the way things are looking for the future of the franchise.
