The Minnesota Timberwolves had said going in to NBA Free Agency that their top priority would be to find a starting caliber two-guard. To back up the early reports, Minnesota is wasting no time in setting up meetings. The Timberwolves will first be meeting with in house free agent Chase Budinger, before having a chat with Kevin Martin.
From Sam Amick of USA Today:
T-Wolves going heavy on 2-guard front to start free agency-visiting Chase Budinger in person to start free agency. Calling Kevin Martin too.

Budinger and Martin are both expected to be highly pursued in free agency, but the Timberwolves could have a leg up by getting meetings in early.
Two other names to watch as the Timberwolves begin their desperate search for a starting shooting guard are O.J. Mayo and J.J. Redick.
