Count the Golden State Warriors as one of the many teams interested in the Sacramento Kings’ Tyreke Evans.

Evans is reportedly meeting with the Kings in Los Angeles today after meeting with the New Orleans Pelicans last evening. He also apparently may have a visit lined up with the Warriors, who are showing interest in the former Rookie of the Year, this according to Sacramento’s News 10:

Was also told by source that the Warriors are among teams that have shown interest in Tyreke Evans #NBAKings

Void of any free agent money, the Warriors and Kings would need to engage in a sign and trade scenario for Evans to join the Warriors.

It’s unknown who the Warriors would attempt to part with, though, it’s highly unlikely the Kings would have much interest in any available players. The Warriors are apparently willing to part with Klay Thompson for Dwight Howard, who cold be of interest to Sacramento, but I’m not sure that makes sense for the Warriors as Thompson is a much cheaper alternative than Evans. That also might be a difficult sell to the Kings who recently drafted the sharpshooting Ben McLemore.
