Sacramento Kings point guard Tyreke Evans has been receiving plenty of interest from the New Orleans Pelicans early in free agency and it looks like the Pelicans are ready to put their money where their mouth is. According to reports, Evans could soon be receiving a big offer from the Pelicans that could bring him to town.

If the Pelicans want to have a real chance at landing Evans, a big offer is their only way to go.

Sacramento will have the opportunity to match any offer sheet, but they will likely be unable to do that if the Pelicans come with a big time offer. The reports indicate that a potential sign-and-trade is one option for both sides.

Free agency kicked off just after midnight, so be sure to stay tuned to throughout the free agency period as we keep you up to date with the latest news and rumors from around the league.
