NBA Free Agency – Denver Nuggets guard Andre Iguodala will have a busy Monday. According to Yahoo, the coveted free agent will meet with six different team representatives for a talk.
Denver Nuggets free-agent forward Andre Iguodala has a long day of meetings scheduled in Los Angeles on Monday. He’s expected to speak with the Nuggets, New Orleans Pelicans,Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, Detroit Pistons and Atlanta Hawks, a source told Yahoo! Sports.
With a long list of interested teams, it’s becoming more and more clear that the Nuggets will probably have to offer Iguodala something close to a max contract for him to stay with the team. New head coach Brian Shaw and GM Tim Connelly will be meeting with Iguodala.
Iguodala likely won’t sign with a team (unless it’s the Nuggets) until Dwight Howard and perhaps a couple of other higher ranked free agents find a home for next season, but Andre is right up there among the top targets for a lot of teams that are looking for an accomplished perimeter defender and playmaker.
