NBA Free Agency 2013: Sacramento Kings Offer Andre Iguodala Four Year, $56 Million Contract

With a new ownership group ready to spend, the Sacramento Kings are trying to shed their loser image and are willing to do so with the all mighty dollar.

According to Yahoo Sports, the Sacramento Kings have offered Andre Iguodala a four year deal worth a reported $56 million dollars.

Per Wojo:

Sacramento is offering free agent Andre Iguodala a four year, approximately $56 million contract, league sources tell Y! Sports.

It’s a huge price tag for any player, let alone Iguodala but it’s something the Kings have to do to bring the former Arizona Wildcat to the California capital.

Earlier today it was reported that the Denver Nuggets had offered Iggy a a five year, $63 million dollar contract so Sacramento had to trump that offer, which they’ve clearly done. Does Denver make a last ditch effort and try to bring back their swingman who they were ’100% confident’ they would re-sign or do they deem the blood too rich and walk away?
