Al Jefferson Will Wait to Decide On Future Until Dwight Howard Signs

Despite spending the past day and a half visiting the Charlotte Bobcats, free agent center Al Jefferson is not ready to take on a contract offer just yer. Jefferson reportedly wants to wait out the process and allow Dwight Howard to decide and set the market. A contender that loses out on Howard could also then turn their attention to signing Jefferson.

From Chris Broussard of ESPN:

Jefferson is reportedly seeking a four-year deal worth $60 million.

Free agency kicked off just after midnight on Monday, so be sure to stay tuned to FanSided.com throughout the free agency period as we keep you up to date with the latest news and rumors from around the league.

You would have to believe that Jefferson prefers to play in Dallas, but Charlotte will almost certainly be his home if Dwight makes the move to the Mavericks on June 10.
