Chicago Blackhawks, Nick Leddy Agree to Two-Year Deal

The Chicago Blackhawks are still riding the high of their win over the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup Finals and the organization continues to head in the right direction with the decision to re-sign young defenseman Nick Leddy. Despite being a young player, Leddy has earned plenty of experience by playing in every game for the team over the past two season.

The Blackhawks confirmed the news:

There is still a chance that the Blackhawks could add a quality free agent this season, but their roster will be fine whether they decide to or not, thanks to the early moves by general manager  Stan Bowman this offseason.

The Blackhawks will enter next season with high hopes after becoming champions this season and they are making sure that they will be well equipped to defend their title next season.
