Dwight Howard has met with every team that is interested in acquiring his services this summer, and while it was initially reported that he will make his decision on July 10, it seems that he could make up his mind as soon as this Friday.
From what I'm told by someone privy to Dwight Howard's plans, a Friday decision will be announced without a question from Jim Gray

At this point, it’s hard to say where he will go. The Golden State Warriors and the Atlanta Hawks seem to be the underdogs in the Howard sweepstakes, but are still in it with a shot and had a chance to give their pitch to the coveted free agent.
The Houston Rockets have generally been pointed out as the favorites to land Howard’s signature, but the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers have a decent chance as well.
Every team has some kind of a plan that would eventually lead to championship contention, and whoever has convinced Howard that their plan is the best will probably sign him. The Lakers can offer him the most money, but it’s essentially a certainty that next season will be a tough one for LA.
