Indiana Pacers Pursruing Marco Belinelli; Brooklyn Nets Drop Out

The Brooklyn Nets are looking to add a quality perimeter player to their roster, but they have decided to drop out of the race for Italian shooting guard Marco Belinelli, who played for the Chicago Bulls last season. While the Nets are dropping out of contention, the Indiana Pacers look poised to make a run and add a shooter to their bench.

From Davide Chinellato of the Italian La Gazzetta dello Sport:

Last season, Bellinelli averaged 9.6 points, 2.0 assists and 1.9 rebounds per game.

While he wouldn’t be a star for the Pacers, he could add depth and an intriguing option off the bench as they gear up for another postseason run.
