The Milwaukee Bucks need to add shooters to their line up and they are closing in on locking up one of the best available players available on the market. According to reports that surfaced on Wednesday night, the Bucks and O.J. Mayo are working on finalizing a deal.

From Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports:

Mayo became a priority for the Bucks after they lost J.J. Redick to the Los Angeles Clippers. Milwaukee is also expected to watch Monta Ellis leave in free agency, so they need to find a capable shooter to insert as their starting shooting guard and Mayo was the best option available.

If things continue to go this way, we can expect to see a verbal agreement between the two sides on Thursday.

Free agency kicked off just after midnight on Monday, so be sure to stay tuned to throughout the free agency period as we keep you up to date with the latest news and rumors from around the league.
