Not long after the news surfaced that veteran point guard Chauncey Billups would like to play two more seasons in the NBA, we have learned that he is receiving interest from the Cleveland Cavaliers. Billups would serve as nothing more than a mentor to rising star Kyrie Irving, but that could prove to be a valuable asset to the young man as he looks to grow and mature in his career.
You may think that Billups would want to play for a contender with what little time he has left in his career, but he could also just look to pick up as much money as possible before hanging it up. He also reportedly has interest from the Spurs, Mavericks, Pistons, Kings, Nets and Timberwolves.
