Cristiano Ronaldo: I Miss Manchester United

This summer rumors surfaced suggesting that Cristiano Ronaldo was not happy in Spain and would welcome a return back to Old Trafford and Manchester United. Since then, both Real Madrid and Ronaldo himself have made it clear that the superstar will stay in Madrid. However, Ronaldo admits that he does miss Manchester United.

“I miss English football,” he said. “For me, it was [some] of the best years in my career when I was there in Manchester United. Everyone knows that it is a club that is still in my heart and I really, really miss. But now my life is in Spain. I am enjoying playing there, too.”

The 28-year-old did not, however, rule out a move back to United. “Part of my life is there, but in the future we never know. I am really, really happy in the Spanish league.”

Ronaldo seems to be keen to keep his future options open, but he will remain in the Spanish capital for now. Most United fans would obviously love to have Ronaldo back. He broke through as one of the best football players in the world playing for the club, and further asserted his position among the greats in Madrid.
