NBA Free Agency 2013 – Kenyon Martin returned to the NBA with the New York Knicks last season, and after a rather successful year he is drawing quite a lot of interest in free agency. According to Chris Broussard of ESPN, up to five teams are interested in the 35-year-old forward’s services.

At this point in his career Martin can provide some toughness and rebounding off the bench. The Knicks seem to want him back, as he was able to contribute a fair amount last season. The Brooklyn Nets are also looking to add some depth to their frontcourt after landing Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, and Martin would be a decent option. The Los Angeles Clippers are in a similar situation as the Nets, and are looking at several big men that could come off the bench next season.
The San Antonio Spurs are pretty much staying intact, with Manu Ginobili and Tiago Splitter both signing contracts. Still, adding some more depth to the frontcourt wouldn’t hurt.
Los Angeles Lakers are eagerly waiting to see what Dwight Howard will decide to do, as the team can’t choose a direction until Howard makes his choice.
