With the news that Dwight Howard appears poised to sign with the Houston Rockets on July 10, the Rockets could be looking to add another superstar to the mix. One of the options for the team would be to finalize a deal with the Atlanta Hawks as they look to complete a sign-and-trade for Josh Smith.

From Ken Berger of CBS Sports:

Current Rockets center Omer Asik has no plans of backing up Howard, so he could immediately look for a trade. If that is the case, then he would be a nice bargaining chip to include in a deal with Atlanta for Smith.
