Tired of Dwight Howard news yet? No? Fantastic – because we have more. It’s as if it never ends.
According to Yahoo Sports, the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets have been informed that they were the two finalists for Dwight Howard, this after the Dallas Mavericks were informed they were eliminated. However, there’s a catch – isn’t there always with Dwight Howard involved? The decision between the Lakers and Rockets was made before the Golden State Warriors signed Andre Iguodala this afternoon.
Before Golden State deals, Dwight Howard had narrowed his choices to the Lakers and Rockets, league sources tell Y! Sports.
Golden State hasn’t been informed that Howard has eliminated them, nor given up hope of landing him. Unclear how their deals impact his plan
Unlike Dallas, Howard has not officially ruled out the Warriors as of yet and the acquisition of Iguodala now make the already complicated process even more difficult.
Of course, unlike Los Angeles and Houston, Dwight can’t sign with the Warriors – he would need to be acquired in a sign and trade, which would take the Lakers assistance. There’s no word on if they’re willing to help a divisional rival.
