The Dwama, Dwightmare — whatever you want to call it, will soon come to an end. Dwight Howard has decided on where he will play next season, but will not announce his decision until sometime this weekend.
While Howard has decided on which team he will join, he has not given any direct hints as to which it will be, so we’ll have to wait and see.
Many still believe that the Houston Rockets have the best chance to land the big man, since the team has enough cap space to sign Howard outright and can already field a team that could potentially contend for a championship.
The following teams are in the running to land the center: Atlanta Hawks, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks.
The Hawks is probably Howard’s most unlikely destination, with the Mavs, Lakers and Rockets being the front-runners. However, the Warriors also have a shot, but they would have to cut salary in order to create enough space for a max contract.
Stay tuned to Howard’s Twitter and FanSided to find out where Howard will be headed.
