After interest from multiple teams around the league, free agent guard Darren Collison finally has a new home. There were discussions that Collison could be involved in a sign-and-trade, but there was no deal that was able to be worked out. Regardless of a lack of trade, Collison has still landed with the Clippers.
The report came late Friday night when the news surfaced on Twitter.
From Marc Stein of ESPN.com:
Darren Collison, I’m told, is going to the Clippers. Done deal. Two-year deal, player option in Year 2

Collison will provide the Clippers with plenty of depth in the back court and a great option behind Chris Paul after the Clippers decided to part ways with Eric Bledsoe earlier in the free agency period.
Free agency kicked off just after midnight on Monday, so be sure to stay tuned to FanSided.com throughout the free agency period as we keep you up to date with the latest news and rumors from around the league.
