It’s another offseason, which means we can re-open the Jaromir Jagr to Montreal Canadiens speculation. The two sides have spent time talking and they could eventually work on a deal that would bring Jagr to the Canadiens.

According to Louis-Andre Lariviere of TVA Sports, Jagr and the Habs are spending time together this offseason discussing a potential partnership.

“Jaromir always wanted play in Montreal,” said Jagr’s agent Petr Svoboda based on a loose translation. “We discussed with [CEO] Marc Bergevin yesterday. The interest is mutual, but the decision is now up to the Canadiens.”

Jagr is already 41-years-old, but he has plenty to offer a team if they give him a shot.
