Veteran center Jermaine O’Neal played with the Phoenix Suns last season while he saw his most significant action since having injuries attempt to derail his career, but O’Neal bounced back and now he is generating plenty of interest on the open market. Reports surfaced on Saturday that the veteran free agent had interest from multiple teams.

ESPN’s Marc Stein had the report.

O’Neal will play limited minutes, but he will be a valuable asset in the front court for whatever team lands him, if he is able to stay healthy. He would also bring some additional leadership to a franchise.

Free agency kicked off just after midnight on Monday, so be sure to stay tuned to FanSided.com throughout the free agency period as we keep you up to date with the latest news and rumors from around the league.
