In search of a third string point guard, the Brooklyn Nets may have secured one of the better available on the open market.
According to Yahoo Sports, the Nets have agreed to a one year, minimum salary deal with Shaun Livingston who spent last season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Brooklyn has reached an agreement with Shaun Livingston on a one-year, minimum deal, league source tells Y! Sports.
Many will recall Livingston, a former lottery pick of the Los Angeles Clippers who suffered one of the most gruesome NBA injuries I can personally recall when his knee completely buckled upon landing during a fast break.
Determined to make it back, Livingston continued his career and while obviously not the player he was expected to be, he’s proven his worth and should be a welcome asset in Brooklyn.
Livingston had his best seasons in years with the Cavaliers, where he averaged nearly 7 points and nearly 4 assists in just 23 minutes a game.
