Tottenham was happy to announce on Saturday that they have finally completed a deal that will bring Brazilian international Paulinho to the team from Corinthians. The team announced the news on their official website.
Many believe that Paulinho’s presence at White Hart Lane spells the end for Scott Parker’s time with the team. Parker currently has interest from Sunderland, Fulham and QPR.
During his time at Corinthians, Paulinho was twice named to the Brazilian Serie A team of the year, while helping lead the team to a 2011 league championship. Tottenham is hoping that his box-to-box style will be a huge addition to their midfield.
Paulinho has been having great success with the Brazilian national squad, including time with the team during the Confederations Cup, and Tottenham has to be excited about what the 24-year-old can bring to their squad.
