Usain Bolt is a man of many talents and he may finally have the opportunity to join his favorite sports team for a charity match at Old Trafford. According to a report from The Sun, Bolt will be suiting up with Manchester United in a match to honor longtime Man U defender Rio Ferdinand against Spanish club Sevilla on August 9.
The match will be an exhibition.
Bolt has often said that he would love to give soccer a shot after his track days are over, so this could be his big audition.
“Usain has finally got his wish and he’ll be lining up alongside Rio,” a source told the newspaper. “It should be quite a game. It will be fascinating to see if Usain’s speed will be matched by his passing and ball control.”
Whether or not Bolt ends up suiting for United remains to be seen, but it would be entertaining to see how the fastest man in the world can handle a soccer ball as he displays his skills on the pitch.
